Don’t waste your time. We called him at 1:30pm asking if he could do a roadside call. We were understanding it might take a little longer then normal bevause it was a Sunday, and we know how hard it can be to find truck and trailer parts on a Sunday, and we were about an hour and 45 minutes away from where he was based. Keep in mind we told him we were hauling cattle when I start talking about time frames. When we called he was in Merced said he required a $225 deposit before he would even come out to us. We paid it. An hour went by. No phone call so we called. He said the store he went to didn’t have the parts but he found a guy in los banos and was going to meet him in 45 minutes to get what we needed. An hour and a half goes by and we call him says he has the parts and is on his way and he will be to us in an hour and a half or less, then proceeded to ask for another $50 for fuel because he didn’t have enough to get here. This was at 4:30pm. As I am writing this review it is 7:43pm we have called 19 times, and are starting to get worried he’s never going to show up. Every time we called he lied to us about where he was and how much longer it would be. Said he was 10-15 minutes away for almost 2 hours. One time we called he said he was coming down the hill and could see the intersection and gas station we were at. We watched that hill for 10 minutes, called again, the told us he was coming for a completely different direction then he told us before. He finally showed up at 7:50, he worked on it for approximately 2 hours before we had to transfer the load to another truck due to the time the cattle had already been on the trailer and the length of time to their destination. (For those of you that don’t know cattle cannot be on a trailer for longer then 28 hours max, but no longer then 24 recommended. They ended up working on it for 5 hours. It should have been a 2-3 hour job, and left the trailer in worse condition then it was. He then proceeded to try and charge us $1000 for the work he had already done, then wanted us to go to his shop to finish the repair the following morning. He told us in the phone he charged $125/hr plus the $225 to come out. The total if it was fixed properly should have only been $625 on top of what we had already paid. Long story short especially for commercial vehicles, we aren’t sure the guy knows what he is doing, tries to charge way more then quoted, and won’t show up until hours after he said they would. Take your business elsewhere. Picture receipts of phone calls, and pictures of what he was supposed to be fixing, and how it was left below.
