Called on a Sunday afternoon and he answered immediately, explained the SMUD rebate, and all the different options for installing a Tesla charger. After all that, he offered to come that same day to install it! Before installation, he explained how everything would look and operate before starting anything to make sure I was okay with how the final product would look. Once installation was complete, he explained how everything works, where to find the breaker, and cleaned up everything. Overall very knowledgeable, thorough, clean, and friendly!

Hired Sami at Grid Plus Electric for an electrical panel replacement and an EV charger install. I got several bids for this job and asked every contractor a long list of questions. Sami answered every single one patiently and honestly, even when the honest answer wasn't the one that made him the most money. He was also easy to reach the whole way through — a quick call or text and he'd get right back to me. Anyone who's dealt with contractors knows how rare both of those are. His price was very competitive, the work was clean, everything passed inspection, and he handled the utility rebate paperwork. When the charger didn't arrive in time for install day, he came back on a second trip to install it, no complaints and no surprise charges. Another well deserved 5 star review for Sammy. He did a great job with my EV plug install. Please consider the price I entered in the review does not include the SMUD rebate available at the time so my total cost was much less. I had talked to some other friends that had fully permitted plugs installed without rebates and Sammy's price was competitive. Sammy takes care of everything you just have to fill out a few quick forms and provide the vehicle registration. It was a very easy process because of him.
