I needed to find an experienced concrete contractor to help build a concrete foundation and patio area for my home addition project. I received multiple bids after onsite visits from several contractors. Looking back, Rangel Concrete provided a very competitive bid and I’m glad I selected Rangel Concrete. I worked with Maria, company contact, to coordinate and schedule a start date for the project. Maria was very responsive to any Q&A via chats or emails. Francisco and his team were friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working. Francisco was very professional and pleasant to work with. Francisco totally understood the scope of work involved and he and his team worked a full day to make sure the project was on schedule. Francisco and his team also made sure they clean up the job site after the completion of the project. I’m very satisfied with the work Rangel Concrete have done. We selected Rangel Concrete to build a new retaining wall and steps in our backyard. We reviewed multiple contractors, arranged site visits, and received 4 bids. When we got the bid and schedule from Rangel, they were our first choice. We are happy to report that Rangel was the right choice. We needed to replace a cracking, root-ravaged cinder-block 30+ feet long, 5' 3" tall retaining wall and steps leading up to our terraced backyard. We had engineered plans for a cast concrete wall. We need a contractor interested in working with the plans and the city. Our meeting with Rangel gave us confidence that they understood the project and would be pleasant to work with. They provided a very competitive bid and were available to start the project in time to ensure that it was completed by the end of summer. Some contractors would not commit to a timeframe or estimated that it would take more time to complete than seemed reasonable. Francisco and his crew began work at 7:00 each morning and worked hard the entire day with just one much needed lunch break. Rangel had all the necessary equipment for this sizable project. They removed the old wall and dirt, dug a new trench, installed rebar, stirrups, ties, drain rock, waterproof membrane, built forms for the new cast concrete wall, etc. The site was kept as clean as possible. Francisco was very pleasant to work with. He persistent and creative in bringing the plans to life with forms and rebar. He made useful suggestions, was very communicative, and was clearly committed to the outcome. Maria kept us up to date, communicated well with the city inspector, and was delightful to work with. We recommend Rangel Concrete highly.

Rangel Concrete replaced and upgraded our old retaining wall. Maria and Francisco were great to work with. They replaced an 85-foot-long retaining wall, moved the wall back a foot and added a much large sitting area on our hill. They were very detailed oriented, prompt and professional. Francisco and his team do very good work, our project took a few weeks due to the amount of dirt to be removed, complexity of the forms and inspections, they kept me updated the entire time and did quality work. I highly recommend them!
