Hello House Cleaning

Leaving a more recent review since the current crew does not seem to match the experiences I’ve seen from the other reviews. The first two cleanings were excellent, and then there was a huge downturn in quality for the ones after that (not just one, but all of the cleanings after). Attaching a picture of how they left my kitchen items including wine glasses in a pile in the sink after they cleaned them. Left a dirty rag in my bathroom. Didn’t wipe down all surfaces like coffee tables and mirrors. They also broke my husband’s kitchen scale by fully submersing it in water. Would recommend them for a one/two time cleaning but not for recurring cleanings, especially given it is pricier than other services. To help everyone out, I was charged $185 for biweekly cleanings for a 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom townhome (about 1,000 sq ft) in San Mateo.

I reached out to this company and they were pleasant and prompt in replying to my message. Once we scheduled a date, I asked them what time they would come. It took them 2 days to reply to tell me the time, which included me having to send a follow up text. I was, finally, told 7:30-8:00am. They didn't arrive until 8:30 am, and they never bothered to give me a heads-up that they were running late. In fact, I had to reach out to them to figure out what was going on. Once they finally arrived, they made zero apologies for running late. They started on the 3rd floor and they made it clear they were not happy with the status of my husband's room and office. My husband made it very clear that he didn't care too much, just do your best. I got a text message from the boss saying they are a housecleaning service, not organizers and that we should have organized first before getting cleaners. I know this, and I reassured them it would be ok with whatever they could do. They then moved on to my son's toy room. They complained about Legos on the floor. It's a kid's room, of course there will be Legos. Again, I reassured then to just do their best. That room was not a high priority for me. They came to do a deep clean which I understood to mean, among other things, ceiling fans and dusting. I did a random spot check of 2 picture frames in a 100% clear hallway which were full of dust. They did not do the ceiling fan in the guest bedroom downstairs (nor others). When I wrote to the boss after the service was over with my findings, she says the house is very cluttered and that is why they didn't do the ceiling fans or dust the pictures. The entire house is not a disaster, just a couple bad areas. I felt put down and disrespected. I was embarrassed. They did an AMAZING job on the house overall. They couldn't get through the shower doors which was a bit of a bummer, but they did their best. If you keep a tidy house and a flexible schedule, this company could be a great match for you. This company has nearly a 5 Star rating, but I surely didn't get 5 star service. I rate their cleaning as 4.5/5, but their negative attitude and disrespect completely lost me as a customer. 3 stars for Hello house cleaning.

I’ve been a customer of Cristiany and her team for almost a year, and I’m so happy I found them! They were first recommended to me when I moved out of my apartment and needed to do a move-out clean. I was so impressed with the results, that I decided to keep them on for monthly cleanings at our new place. They are kind, thorough, and punctual—what more can you ask for? Highly recommend!
