Corte Madera Cleaners

I brought in a pair of pants with a busted zipper, it had pulled apart. I dropped them off for a new zipper, and was told they might be able to repair the existing one for $20 or replace it for $50. I picked up the pants and was charged $50 for a new zipper. I went to put the pants on and the entire zipper pull pulled off of the track. I brought them back and wasn't charged for the replacement zipper. When I picked up the pants I was shown the working zipper and went home. Upon getting home I went to pick some loose thread ends off of the pants and ended up pulling out some of the stitching holding the zipper in. I brought them back and asked for a refund. They offered to repair the jeans again, but I let them know that after two attempts I was not going to risk a third with them. I mentioned that if they weren't willing to refund me I would dispute the charge with my credit card company and it was at that point they agreed to the refund. I dropped my pants off with a seamstress rather than a combination dry cleaning/alterations place. Photos for before, after the first repair, and after the second repair. The one star is for the decent customer service, but the quality of the work done replacing the zipper was certainly not even one star.

Corte Madera cleaners provided an amazing service for us. We needed to get my husband’s suit tailored for our courthouse wedding and they did an amazing job and were able to do it so quickly in time for our wedding. They were so kind, went above and beyond helping us for our special event! Highly recommend!!!!

The staff is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. One tip: be sure to ask about their specials and promotions. Sometimes they have really good deals that make the service an even better value. Overall, this is a great neighborhood business that we’re happy to recommend. We’ll definitely be back!
